MIHSC
Each year, Troop 354 of Jenison and Troop 290 of Ada host a week of service and fun on Mackinac Island. Sixty Scouts from area troops serve as the Governor’s Honor Guard for one week in June. Scouts are responsible for the daily raising and lowering of the dozens of flags around the Island. In addition, Scouts serve as guides inside Historic Fort Mackinac. It is not all work however. There is plenty of time for fun and fudge.
